Glen was one of the key illustrators behind the underground fetish comics published by Peerless Sales in New York City during the late 1950s and early 1960s. Between approximately 1958 and 1963, Peerless Sales released more than 250 four-page booklet-style prints. These were short, comic-strip formatted stories centered on mixed (man-vs-woman) fights and girl/girl catfights, often with strong erotic, fetish, and light BDSM undertones, including elements of dominance, submission, spanking, and playful bondage.
Glen's work stands out for its dynamic action, expressive figures, and consistent focus on powerful, curvaceous women in intense confrontations. His style fits perfectly into the era's clandestine mail-order fetish scene, where such material was produced semi-anonymously due to legal risks and censorship.
Knowledge about the artist himself remains a complete mystery. No real name, birth/death dates, or personal history have surfaced, despite decades of interest from collectors. Glen is likely a pseudonym (common in this niche), and he shares the obscurity with many peers who worked for Peerless Sales, such as Eneg (Gene Bilbrew), Stanton, and others.
