This site presents a large collection of vintage fetish and BDSM art. It was launched in 2004 to document the work and lives of lesser-known artists in this genre. Many of their pieces were censored, and some of the artists were even imprisoned for their work. The goal is to preserve their stories and make the art available.
I’m thorough. A few images aren’t enough. I spend a lot of time searching, comparing sources, archiving material, and replacing lower-quality versions with better ones whenever I find them. Some albums have taken more than three years to complete. I often start with just one or two pieces and keep looking until there’s enough material and background to build a proper artist page.
Many works have no known artist. I’ve collected a substantial number of these unattributed pieces, as well as illustrated books where the title, author, and publisher are known but the illustrator is not. Fetish artists of the period frequently used pseudonyms to avoid legal trouble, which makes identification difficult. I’m not a historian, just someone who values this material and wants to share it.
The site currently (October 2026) holds more than 17,000 vintage BDSM artworks, most of them rare. Each page lists the number of images in the album(s).
