Raymond van Doren was a Belgian painter, graphic designer and art photographer. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels (1925-1928; with H. Van Haelen and A. Bastien) and with Isidore Opsomer at the National Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Antwerp.

As a painter, mainly a portraitist and painter of female nude figures. Van Doren mainly made a name for himself as a designer of publicity posters. But then there are some bdsm and bondage photos made by him and I was able to find some bdsm artworks. The quality from one album is not the best, the only artworks I was able to find had a very ugly watermark added by the seller. I tried to remove it but since the quality from the scanned artworks was poor it shows in the results. However due to its historical value I decided to add them, hopefully one day I will be able to replace them with better formats.
