A very curious late eighteenth-century booklet, devoted to domination and slave-mounts, satire of the French in exile in Germany during the French Revolution. Some had the reputation of enchanting the rather naive German girls with false promises.
In this tale, the Frenchman seduces the young maid in order to steal her employer’s money. He promises her marriage, telling her that he will soon be rich when he recovers his properties. But when the not-so-deceitful girl discovers his lies, she confidently transforms herself into an effective dominatrix. The writer and artist are unknown, this book was published in 1798.
