Jules Fontanez

~ 1875 - 1918

Jules Fontanez was a painter and illustrator from Geneva. At the age of fifteen he became an apprentice wood engraver at the School of Industrial Arts. He practiced caricatures and contributed to various newspapers such as Sapajou and Passe Partout.
