5 albums/34 artworks – Hans Henrik Lerfeldt (1946 – 1989) was a Danish painter and graphic artist. He was educated at Academy of Fine Arts graphic school 1965-70 below Palle Nielsen. Hans Henrik Lerfeldt was an adoptive child and entered a very religious home. His adoptive father was a priest, and often left him to various orphanages. Lerfeldt was strongly inspired by Wilhelm Freddies, he favored erotic surrealism and is considered one of the innovators of surreal painting in Denmark. The female presence was his favorite subject to illustrate. He cultivated the provocative and repulsive with a strong emphasis on the erotic, preferably sadomasochistic scenes of women and insects.
