The Strap Returns

The Strap Returns, New Notes on Flagellation was privately printed for The Gargoyle Press in 1934. The book was illustrated by Vladimir Alexander Karenin.
Another edition was perhaps published around 1950/1955 with artworks from Malteste (not to be confused with Louis Malteste). It was a 50 page comic serial. These serials were sold by Stanton through his Stanton Archives. Originally, these were sold through Mutrix and Irving Klaw. If these are inspired by or the same as the edition from The Gargoyle Press I can't tell.

I managed to find a large collection of artworks that seem connected to the 50/55 edition.
